YOUR

QUESTIONS

Throughout the whole of your photography experience with me, I am on hand to answer any questions that you might have, get excited with you, plan outfits, styling and more. Some of your questions may be answered here but if not, hit the ‘Contact me’ section!

What are your prices?

You’ll probably find what you’re looking for in the Family Pricing or Wedding Pricing pages.

If however your wedding is part day, somewhere exotic or a little out of the ordinary then do get in touch to chat to me about a bespoke quote. Full day quotes are based on a wedding within one hour of Peterborough in Cambridgeshire.

What do you photograph?

People, (their pets!) and their little people!

I mainly spend my time photographing weddings and families but if you have a branding vision in mind I love to work with creatives and other self employed people too.

What cameras do you have?

Currently Nikon Z6ii and lots of prime lenses…but there is a new mirrorless camera coming out soon just don’t tell my husband ok?!

HOW LONG DO MY PHOTOGRAPHS TAKE?

Turnaround Times & Fast Track Options
As your photographer, I take pride in carefully curating every image to ensure your memories are preserved beautifully. For wedding photography, the standard editing process takes 8-10 weeks, allowing time to perfect every detail of your special day. Family photography typically takes 2-3 weeks for completion. If you need your photos sooner, I offer fast-track options: wedding photos can be delivered in just 1 week for an additional £500, and family photos can be ready within 2 days for an extra £50. Whichever option you choose, I’m committed to delivering images you’ll treasure for a lifetime.

Do you have a studio?

No, not currently. I did until just recently but I actually love photographing in your homes. It adds a personal and sentimental touch that a white plan studio just doesn’t have. If the weather is dry and mild we can also head outside for some beautiful and seasonal photographs for your family shoot.

Where do you cover?

Honestly? Anywhere. I love an elopment or destination wedding and I’m more than happy to chat over options for travel.

I’m also passionate about capturing families Nationwide in our wonderful British countryside so just let me know if there is an ideal location you have in mind.

I’m based near Peterborough and often photograph weddings in and around Cambridgeshire, often visiting our neighbouring counties Norfolk, Hertfordshire and Lincolnshire. I’m also a quick hop on the train to London so I cover some beautiful London city weddings too.

What is your style of photography?

My style is natural posing mixed with some documtary and lifestyle images. You can read more about my approach to wedding photography here.

If you have no idea what I mean but like the images you see then let’s chat!

Do you offer black and white photography?

I do! I always include black and white images in a wedding gallery and I will happily incorporate more or less if you let me know your preference before the session.

I’ll cover a whole wedding in black and white if that’s your vibe.

Why are you a photographer?

I spent ten years as a midwife before choosing to change to photographing people.

It was a HARD decision to leave but in the end I just knew I wanted to chase another passion, photographs.

I now photograph people full time because I treasure photographic memories so very much. Losing my Mum at 21 made me realise quite how precious the time with our loved ones is. I truly treasure every photo I have of her.

So there you have it, my why. Right down to the personal nitty gritty.

What's the funniest moment you've had?

Probably the time I photographed a ‘couple’ together at a wedding and assumed they were together but learned they were friends! Oops, still hoping the got together after though – chemistry!!

Oh and the time I fell over while being second photographer helping with a veil shot!! It’s ok as the guest caught it on camera and I managed to save my cameras!
