Sustainable and artistic wedding photography
As a Cambridgeshire wedding photographer, I believe that love stories should be celebrated in a way that cares for both people and the planet. Weddings are about connection, to each other, to the moments we share, and to the world around us – and I’m passionate about ensuring my work reflects that same care for our environment.
My Commitment
Sustainability isn’t a trend here; it’s a genuine part of how I run my photography business every day. I want the beautiful memories I capture to have a positive impact, not just for my couples, but for the world we all share.
Here’s how I’m making that happen:
- Electric travel across Cambridgeshire and beyond: I use an electric car to travel to weddings, engagement sessions and meetings, helping to keep my carbon footprint low while still being there for couples throughout Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, and the surrounding counties.
- Solar-powered creativity: My home and therefore my office runs on solar energy, meaning the editing, charging my car and camera batteries, emails and storytelling that go into your wedding photographs are powered by the sun.
- Planting a tree for every wedding (NEW in 2025) : For every couple I photograph, I am pledging to plant a tree, a simple but meaningful way to give back to the planet and create a lasting legacy of love and life. Just ask me if you would like the tree to plant in your own garden!
- Sustainable suppliers and packaging: I work with print labs and album makers who share my commitment to sustainability, and I’m continually reviewing my materials and packaging to make them as eco-friendly as possible. I also only choose British print labs in order to reduce the impact of delivering your keepsakes.
- When I photograph your little ones (many of my wedding couples come back to me for newborn photographs) I use the solar panel energy to wash the baby blankets and use the eco conscious brand Homethings to keep them wonderfully soft and fresh.
Looking Ahead
Sustainability is an ongoing journey, and I’m always learning and improving the way I work. Every decision, from how I travel to how I deliver your images, is made with care for the planet and the couples I’m so lucky to photograph.
