Maybe it’s because Christmas is when I miss my mum the most, when memories feel closer, emotions sit nearer the surface, and photographs matter more than ever. (Can you see why I became a photographer!!)

Can you believe that many years ago a friend told me that I would end up photographing weddings and families and I told her that I would never be good enough?! I photographed mainly landscapes at the time and only took the occasional portrait. It’s now my full time job to document the most important people in your life and it’s not a job that I take lightly.

That face of mischief!! I love outdoor photoshoots in Autumn, the colours are fun and golden and the light is soft. We do sometimes have to reschedule due to the weather but it’s always worth it!

Or match the value of photos of you (trust me I wish I had way more of my Mum - your children will treasure every photo of you one day, and I know that’s a 🥺 thought I really do).

I’m consistently told by couples that the couple portraits took them by surprise - they actually enjoyed them! It only takes about 15 minutes to snap some truly memorable art leaving lots of time for heading back to your guests and the party!
